Notifications Are Here

No more refreshing the tournament page to see whether your pairing is up. Combat Command will now tell you when your pairing is posted, your ranking changes, or a result is added, wherever you would rather hear about it.

What You Are Notified About

• Pairings: A pairing is created for you.
• Rankings: Your ranking in a tournament changes.
• Registrations: An organizer adds you to a tournament.
• Match results: A result involving you is created or updated by someone else.

Where You See Them

All notifications land on the Notifications page, newest first. An unread badge on the notifications button shows how many are waiting, and unread items are marked with a dot. One button marks everything as read. Selecting a notification takes you straight to the page it is about.

Your Choice of Channel

Each notification type can be delivered:

• In the app.
• As a web push notification on your device.
• By email.

By default, everything arrives in the app and by push, while only new pairings and being added to a tournament are also emailed. Change any of this on the Notifications tab of your settings.

Good To Know

• Push and email always include the in-app notification.
• On iOS, web push works once Combat Command has been added to your Home Screen.
• Push can be enabled per device, with a prompt shown on the settings tab while a device is not yet subscribed.
