Great painting deserves a reward, and slow play deserves a penalty. Score adjustments give organizers a tidy, visible way to hand out both, without a side spreadsheet or a mid-event recalculation.

Score Adjustments

What You Can Adjust

Each adjustment has four fields:

  • Round: The round the adjustment applies to.
  • Ranking Factor: Which factor to adjust, such as Total Wins or Total Points. Only the factors enabled for the tournament are available.
  • Amount: A positive number for a bonus, or a negative number for a penalty.
  • Reason: An optional note explaining the adjustment.

Where To Find It

Adjustments are managed from a competitor’s edit form. They are applied automatically whenever standings are calculated, so there is no need to adjust the rankings by hand.

Common Uses

  • Rewarding on-time list submission.
  • Penalizing slow play.
  • Correcting a mis-recorded result.
